My story — new series on XO Sam
All parents would agree – they work tirelessly throughout the day, carry on with their routine jobs, household chores and manage upbringing of their children. Yet, they expect little in return. Whether their kids appreciate their efforts or not, is a completely different story. However, some kids do realise their parents’ struggles when they become parents themselves. With this thought as a backdrop here is our next article (first article appeared here: (http://www.xosam.com/new-series-my-parenting-story/) in this new series about parents, would-be parents and couples trying to conceive.
Our guest this time is Janice Wald from the immensely popular website www.mostlyblogging.com.
We are sooo much excited to have Janice on board. Here is a short interview.
1. Hello Janice. Thanks for lending time to an otherwise growing blog. We at www.xosam.com are a big fan of yours.
2. Please let our readers know more about about mostlyblogging.com.
Janice: I write about blogging in order to help bloggers by giving step-by-step directions for content creation.
By following the advice in these posts, you will be able to increase your content’s visibility and boost your productivity.
I have been included in over 30 expert interview panels and combined my blog posts into a success ebook on blogging tips and social media tips, AN INSIDER’S GUIDE TO BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL BLOG.
3. Managing a successful blog, a full-time job and family. You must be feeling like a super human. At least we perceive you are one. How does that feel.
Janice: How kind– superhuman! The trick is to staying regimented. I stick to a schedule. I have blogged about it, so if your readers want to see a sample schedule they can follow and still work outside the home and have time for family and friends, see this post: http://www.
4. How does my family feel about my blogging? Shouldn’t they come first at the end of the day?
Janice: I have posts already written and ready to publish in case my children unexpectedly need me. I only work until 3:00 as a teacher. My time with my husband begins at 7:00 when we have dinner, catch up on our day, and watch TV. That gives me a block of time each day after work for the blogging. My amazing husband supports my interest.
To blog, which is so time-consuming, you have to have a support system. My husband is that for me. As I said in an earlier question, the trick is to stick to a schedule so everything gets attention.
Whoa! That was Janice Wald from www.mostlyblogging.com. We are so much in love with her blog. After all, we are always applying her tips for our own growth. Thanks Janice for your time, we are so much indebted to you for this. Our blog subscribers and social media followers will be hearing a lot about this interview in the coming days..
